Cheek Fillers in Winnipeg, MB

Cheek Filler is a treatment performed with precise dermal filler injections to create higher, more prominent cheekbones. Dermal fillers work by adding volume, structure, and support to enhance your cheekbones. Your face will look lifted, more contoured, and refreshed within a matter of minutes.

As we age the bone and fat volume in our cheeks begins to decrease. This results in loss of definition, structure, support over time. Genetics also plays a role. Some people have lower, flatter cheekbones according to the natural structure of their face. With fillers like Juvéderm®, Restylane®, and Teosyal®, expert injectors at The First Glance can put the volume back where it belongs to elevate and enhance your cheekbones.

Whether you would like top model cheekbones or a subtle lift, your treatment will be personalized according to your desired aesthetic results.

An expert nurse injector or a board certified plastic surgeon will perform your Cheek Fillers in a private treatment room at the award-winning First Glance Aesthetic Clinic & Surgery Centre located in Winnipeg, MB.

How Does Cheek Filler Work And What Is Hyaluronic Acid?

There are a variety of dermal fillers that can be used to create higher and more prominent cheekbones. The majority of Cheek Fillers are made with Hyaluronic Acid, which is a very safe and naturally occurring substance in the skin. Hyaluronic Acid helps the skin retain moisture, delivers nutrients, creates softness, and adds volume.

Hyaluronic Acid works to lift the cheekbones. It can be extremely effective at building structure and support to define the contour of your face. The cheekbones need more volume and lift compared to other areas of the face; thus a thicker Hyaluronic Acid filler (high G prime) is typically used. Your expert injector will identify the right filler for your treatment at the time of your consultation. Determining factors include your facial anatomy, the areas treated, the length of time the filler lasts, the cost per syringe, and your desired aesthetic results.

What Can I Expect During My Cheek Filler Treatment?

On the day of your treatment, your expert injector will meet you in a private treatment room to discuss your aesthetic goals in detail. From there, your injector will assess your facial anatomy to determine what type of filler is best to achieve your desired aesthetic results. Before your Cheek Filler begins, your skin will be cleansed at the injection sites to remove any makeup or oil on the surface of your skin (very important). Now that your skin is clean, your injector is ready to introduce the Cheek Filler with a cannula or an ultra-fine needle (which may feel like a light pinch). A cannula is a tiny tube that distributes the dermal filler. Some injectors prefer to use a cannula to reduce the risk of bruising. All of the injectors at The First Glance are experts in both methods (needle and cannula). Your injector will determine which technique is best for your treatment.

Your injector will go slowly, adding your filler in stages until they reach your desired aesthetic results. Your injector may also mold the filler with their fingers after it’s injected to shape it into place before it fully sets. It’s important to ice the area after your treatment to reduce swelling and bruising.

Your treatment will take about 20 to 30 minutes.

When Will I See Results After My Cheek Filler Treatment?

You will see results immediately. There will be some swelling after your treatment so you won’t see your best results until 7 to 14 days later.

What Is The Expected Recovery Time?

Swelling and bruising after Cheek Filler treatments is common. Swelling is at its peak 1 to 2 days after your treatment. Light swelling will continue to improve after 7 to 14 days.

How Long Will My Results Last?

Hyaluronic Acid Fillers dissolve naturally and gradually over time. Most of the Restylane®, Juvéderm®, and Teosyal® products last around 1 to 2 years when injected into the cheekbones. This can vary depending on your anatomy and how quickly filler metabolizes in your body. Touch-up treatments are required to maintain results.

How Much Does Cheek Filler Cost in Winnipeg, MB?

Cheek Fillers typically start at $500 in Winnipeg. The cost of your Cheek Filler depends on the natural anatomy of your face, the type of filler, and the volume needed to achieve your desired aesthetic results.  You will receive an exact quote during your consultation.
