Jawline Slimming With Botox in Winnipeg, MB
Jawline Slimming is performed with precise Botox injections into the masseter muscle (jaw muscle) to slim your face into a softer, more refined, and narrow “V” shape.
The masseter muscle is a chewing muscle that goes along the edge of your jawbone. The masseter is responsible for creating a wider, square-shaped, more masculine looking jawline. Botox injections weaken the masseter muscle, reducing its size to create a slimmer, softer, more refined face shape. An added benefit of Jawline Slimming is the emphasis on your cheekbones as the lower part of your face slims down over time. Botox injections to the masseter also relieves muscle tension and TMJ pain in the jaw from grinding or clenching your teeth.
An expert nurse injector or a board certified plastic surgeon will perform your Botox injections in a private treatment room at the award-winning First Glance Aesthetic Clinic & Surgery Centre located in Winnipeg, MB.
What Can I Expect During My Jawline Slimming with Botox Treatment?
On the day of your treatment, your expert injector will meet you in a private treatment room to discuss your aesthetic goals in detail. After a full assessment of your masseter muscle, your injector will determine the proper dosage of Botox for your treatment. Before your Botox injections begin, your skin will be cleansed at the injection sites to remove any makeup or oil from the surface of your skin (very important). Now that your skin is clean, your injector is ready to introduce the Botox (which may feel like a light pinch).
Botox appointments typically last 15 to 30 minutes.
As soon as your appointment is over, you can get right back to your daily activities.
What Is The Expected Recovery Time?
You can return to work and your daily activities immediately after your Botox treatment. There is no downtime.
When Will I See Results After My Jawline Slimming Treatment?
Jawline Slimming with Botox is a gradual process; you will begin to see results within the first 3 to 4 weeks after your treatment. The effects will continue to improve over the next three months. You may experience less muscle tension in the masseter muscle within days of your treatment.
How Long Will My Results Last?
Dramatic jawline slimming results can be achieved if you keep up with your Botox treatments every 4 to 6 months.
How Much Does Jawline Slimming With Botox Cost in Winnipeg, MB?
The cost of Jawline Slimming with Botox varies depending on the units of Botox needed to achieve your desired aesthetic results. Jawline Slimming typically starts at $300. You will receive an exact quote during your consultation.

Things To Know Before Your Botox Injections
We want you to achieve amazing results and love your smooth and revitalized skin. Here’s some important information about Botox so you can reduce the risk of bruising and discover how to be proactive for best results.
Patients who are pregnant or breastfeeding cannot get Botox treatments.
To minimize bruising, please avoid alcohol for at least 48 hours before your injections. To improve the longevity of your treatment, we recommend that you refrain from gym workouts for 48 hours and avoid excessive heat (saunas, hot yoga) for 1 week after your treatment.
After your injections, you may feel slight discomfort and be tempted to rub or massage the injection sites; this is to be avoided. Your skin needs to settle and heal without irritation. The typical time to recover after Botox is approximately 2 to 4 hours. Although it may be tempting to take a nap during that time, it’s best to avoid lying down or putting pressure on your face.
For optimal results, we recommend that you follow these guidelines so you can reduce the risk of bruising.
