Dr. Avi Islur’s 5-Step Process
At First Glance, all of Dr. Avi Islur’s patients go through a 5-phase process, from the initial consultation and pre-operative preparation, through to the final results.
1. Initial Consultation
Call (204) 813-0305 to book your consultation. You will have an in-office consult with Dr. Avi Islur to discuss your cosmetic surgery in detail. Specific measurements will be taken and all of your questions will be answered. You will also receive a cosmetic surgery quote from our Patient Coordinator.
2. Schedule Your Surgery
You can book your surgery at the time of your initial consultation, if you need to check your calendar and get back to us, you can call First Glance at (204) 813-0305 to secure your surgery date. A 25% deposit is required at the time of scheduling your surgery. The deposit is needed to secure the operating room, nursing staff and anesthesia staff necessary for your surgery. The full balance is due 3 weeks prior to surgery. Financing is available the First Glance.
3. Pre-operative Physical
A physical assessment by a general practitioner is required prior to surgery. Your physical can be done by your family doctor or a walk in clinic physician. This information must be sent to the First Glance at least one week before your surgery date.
4. Surgery Date
Check in at First Glance 1 to 1.5 hours prior to your surgery start time. Dr. Avi Islur’s medical team will provide you with comfortable operative room clothing for you to change into. You will then meet with Dr. Avi Islur in a consultation room to review and confirm the details of your surgery. After your pre-surgery meet with Dr. Avi Islur, you will be brought into the operative room where you will be introduced to your nurse and anesthetist (if anesthesia is required). Once you are comfortable, your surgery will commence.
5. Post Surgery Follow Up
You will have scheduled follow up appointments with Dr. Avi Islur after your surgery. All throughout your recovery time, you will have full access to Dr. Avi Islur and his medical team for emergency calls and after hour care.
