Male breast development aka Gynecomastia is a fairly common condition in males and generally occurs during the teenage years or later in the senior ages of life.

Following liposuction, if breast tissue is present an incision is made along the lower border of the areola (darker pigment around the nipple) to allow removal of the rubbery glandular tissue. This procedure is often combined with BodyTite to provide tightening to the skin of the chest to maximize results. Rarely further skin removal is required through larger scars; however, as much as possible Dr. Islur will attempt to tighten the skin through minimally invasive/less scarring techniques.
Very rarely, breast tissue alone is present and liposuction is not required.
