Unnatural looking results often come from making the wrong choices when planning a breast augmentation procedure. So it’s really important that you understand your options and take the right steps along the way.
Your Breast Augmentation Options
The great thing about breast implants, is that we have choices. Implants come in many different sizes, shapes and profiles. Your implants can be round or contoured in shape with a textured or smooth shell. I will present all of your options in office so you can see and feel the difference.
Many women find size selection to be the most exciting and stressful part of breast augmentation planning. At the time of your consultation a number of specific measurements will be taken into account to help you make the right choice.
Breast Augmentation Initial Consultation
I encourage you to bring a padded-bra that reflects your aesthetic goals to your initial consult. That way, you can compare the way you look with an implant in place to your padded-bra. Furthermore, we offer the most advanced technology available so you can get a clear 3D preview of your new breasts.
Breast Implant Position
The position of the implant is an important factor in achieving natural looking breasts. Implants are placed above or partially below the pectoralis major muscle (chest muscle). The placement depends on the amount of breast tissue you have prior to surgery.
Breast Implant Incision
The most popular breast implant incisions are inframammary (breast crease) and periareolar (below the nipple). I use a Keller Funnel in all procedures thereby decreasing the size of your incision line by 40-60%.
Post Operative Care Instructions for Breast Augmentation
